Well, Go Skateboarding Day has finally come and gone. Here at éS Footwear headquarters, all of us in the Web Department had a fun little game of SKATE on a red curb here in our parking lot. i went to wild in the streets in philadelphia... it was amazing seeing the looks of bystanders as they smiled in confusion and also watching the hundreds of skaters go from spot to spot... highlight of my summer

I went to the Chinatown loading dock in Los Angeles, sadly security stopped everyone. Than me and my friend played some switch skate until it got too dark to skate. This was the first time I skated in awhile due to a pinched nerve in my hip which fucking killed. But it felt good to stand on my board again.

Even though that I have a new job in a graphic design agency, and the fact that I have all that I want in life: simplicity, generosity, gnarlyness and skills to skate and shit, I HAVE NO BOARD,MAN,....Imagine me , here at Chile, the ass of the world , smelling the streets and wishing to try a 5-0 in a thick ass ledge, with all my friends smiling and enjoying the day...

me and all my friends go downtown and try to skate at eve...the cops come down so we book and go to all the other spots around...right when we get there they kick us out before we even step on our boards...they dont realize that eve is amazing and we wouldnt leave if we could skate there...they have been encouraging it for over 20 years and know this year they stop...everywheres a bust...i cant even skate down the streets anymore...i went to HILLBROOK detention center for 2 weeks and got 15 hours community service for skating at a school...at 15 years old...WE NEED PEOPLE TO HELP FREE EVERSON MUSEUM OF ARTS IN DOWNTOWN SYRACUSE NEW YORK...were gonna have something similar as WILD IN THE STREETS RIGHT HERE IN SYRACUSE...it was suppost to happen today but after the first bust everyone went home.

Well me, my dad, and 2 of my friends went down town to skate here in omaha, nebraska and we went to a manual pad and we were the only ones there and all of a sudden like 20 people showed up and so many technical manual tricks were being hammered down. And it was amazing and fun. But like the usual some guy called the cops and we all took off. So then everyone went down to some other spot where there were all these stairs and that is where all of the hammers went down. And it was a crazy and fun day. There were so many people out skating at one time and it was crazy.
My boys and I skated on a bench out in front of my house. We put it down my drive way and skated it. Then we had a goofies vs regulars game of SKATE. Afterwards we skated down to get some ice cream hitting spot along the way. This all occured in Van Nuys CA. U.S.
Skated till 5:00 when i had to work. apparently it wasnt a good enough reason to ask off of work for. but then after work at ten we went and skated a few ledges and flats. shot some curbs and fandangled up some rails. you know the average day. Green Bay, WI
For Go Skateboarding Day, me and my friends went to brea skatepark for a demo and bbq hosted by liberty. at first it was boring, then a grip of pros/ams started showing up. pros/ams such as clint peterson, jerry hsu, garett hill, james brockman, chris dobstaff, jon rattray, and tony cervantes. it was fun watching them skate and stuff. got t shirts and autographs.
I went and had to go shool but i got out early for skateboarding. I went to Alkmaar, The Netherlands i skated my ass off, and won a bunch of free gear so i am happy.:D

i went to my favorite place in the whole wide world nanjemoy maryland there is so much stuff there 1 stairs curbs and some gnarly logs you can pull out of the woods and and maybe if your lucky ollie over but anyway i had a blast
I skated some street stuff. I had a bench, a kicker with rail, a curb, a flatbar rail and manual pad. Pretty good street set-up.

the skate team im on and I (ruffhouse skate) went and hit up the high desert in california with over 30 kids! we made our way from victorville at the mall of Victor Valley to Apple valley skatepark it took over 12 hours to hit all the great spots in the high desert and the cops had no problems with us! the best day is now go skateboarding day.
It rained a good bit of the day, I skated at the indoor park later on, I didn't skate much though, I wasn't feeling it. I just chilled with some girls that came.
After that came back home and skated the rail, nothing crazy just a fun sesh.

Met up with the Timebomb crew at the street plaza in Vancouver, B.C. at noon, warmed up there then hit up a couple street spots for some best trick cash (hotspot/Victory Square) some sick shit went down on the giant 8 set there... nollie back heel, backside flip, nollie heel, ollie late back foot flip, 360 boneless, hardflip, switch hardflip... probably missing something.
THEN... we took over the Georgia Viaduct... (It's a 3 lane highway/bridge) probably 100-150 kids. Completely stopped all traffic as we cruised to strathcona skatepark... most fun I've had in over 15 years of skateboarding. Taking over a fucking highway!!! Yes!
There was a barbeque at strath... free hotdogs, free redbull... Awesome!

my brother, his friend and i drove an hour to durango CO (we all live in pagosa springs, CO, which fucking sucks!), anyway, we went to a college that had alot of hippies walking around and we skated some waxed ledges, this sweet bank with a tail drop oppurtunity and even inside the library, we aslo skated around the town itself down sidewalks, doing manuals on little pads and grinding red curbs, i was skating around in zumiez too, i was practicing my nollie and switch kickflippers, a pretty damn fun day, cant wait for the next go skate day.

yeah, but it was a good day, everything worked out.
at the end of the day all my clothes were soaked with sweat and i was damn tired... but that´s ok for sure!

i went with my friends around my neighborhood in pearl city, hawaii and skated a whole bunch of stairs and gaps and im getting es accels soon.i also almost got hit by a car while doing a FS flip. my shirt was dripping with sweat and i changed my shirt 3 times before the day was over.i also started teaching my dad to skate before the day ended and he fell a whole bunch of times.i was surprised that i didnt see too many people exxcept for my frends skating here in hawawawawii.i didnt skate at many parks because most of them suk except for apb and manana.
I was disappointed by the lack of skaters. i went street skating for three hours and only saw like 8 ppl. It was 90 degrees with about 100%humidity. The only thing i did besides easy stuff was ollie a big seven that id been freaked out on 5th try. And i was from West Bend Wisconsin, the town Jon Allie grew up in.
I also went to Wild In the Streets took about an hour drive from North East Maryland but it was so amazing so many people did show up we rushed the cops twice to skate love frist time ever skating love park is was awesome then went under the brige in will with Ellington and Braydon they got us lost but it was cool great day in philly.
I learned inward heels after probably 2 years. I would have went to Philly but I live no where close to Pennsylvania. It started to rain the most I've seen in 5 years, so I headed off to the skatepark which was free for the day. I have NEVER in my life seen ANYTHING so crowded. All in all, a good day.

Go Skateboard Day was virtually non-existant in the UK apparently.
I went up to clough state park in dunbarton, NH but I popped a tire. So I spent an hour or so getting a new one put on. I picked up one of my friends and we went into Manchester, NH and skated at Jillians for a few hours. They are wicked nice there they invited us in and gave us free drinks and fries. Then we went around the city looking for some good spots. I parked in a place were you needed to pay the parking meeters. I had no change so i didn't then a meeter cop came around. I noticed her as she was ticketing the car next to me. So I drove off and got some change. Then we went to a loading dock which is one of the best spots in Mancheter. It has a normal 4 and a half foot loading dock. But right next to that there is a drop with a little curb you have to ollie or whatever trick your gana do over. The drop starts at 2 ft and goes up to 6 ft. Then i came back to Goffstown, Nh had a sundae at Mc Donalds. Dropped my friend off. Then skated outside of my house for an hour or two.
yea UK skate day sucked! a bunch of us mitched and went skating but harly anyone else was out.Our shop was meant to have givaways and retro vids but we all left during skate pyshco(if your really old skool youll no this is a vision street wear vid!i think!)As much as tony hawk and Christian Hosoi are inspirational,this was not the time or the place, we want to be amped not educated! As for givaways, i think the shop would rather keep their stuff> There was shoes sales though! But we thought what the heck and went exploring!Its amazin wot you can find in weird places!

The local skateshop hosted a group skate. We had 18 people originally but three left. We went to various spots, mostly flatland to be considerate of those who couldn't skate sets or grind ledges or rails. Channel 1 in New Haven, Connecticut hosted the event. It was great. We had a G.O.S.K.A.T.E. tourny. I came in fifth place. They served really good pizza and Hawiian Punch. It was a pretty nice situation. Channel 1 did good. I had tons of fun skating with the New Haven locals. Go Skateboarding Day 2005.
it was actually sunny and warm in wales for once all of my friend were out skating and everyone one had a tidy day.
Go Skate Day was rad, the crew all skipped work and we had a BBQ while it was hot out. After that we hit up all of the schools and met some new heads. We shared spots, they showed us new ones and we showed them new ones. Learned some new tricks, did some old ones. All in all it was the perfect day, it didn't rain for once and not one cop or security guard gave us a hard time!!! Come visit South Florida, you wont be dissapointed

On GSD, my skater fellows and myself drove around miles from our homes to find new spots, and came across a nice sidewalk to street gap over grass, but were kicked out after a half hour. We spent the day looking for more spots, and ended up about 50 miles from home. We came back to a somewhat local skatepark and then shred from there. I had a great time just with finding that one new spot and going about looking for more, although I didn't skate very much because I had to work in the middle of the day. But you guys encouraged me to go out and skate more so than just any other day. You represent this day well, keep it up!
my school is super gay in west babylon, NY, i was going to go to wild in the streets, but i had a final in global, so i just went and skated with my friends at a three stair all day, it was still cool, but i wish i couldve gone.

I had a huge skate jam at my house. Like 10 people showed up and we all skated our asses off. The fun thing was that everyone was chill, and we all just learned new tricks. Wild in the Streets would have been fun but I think i would need to go with my crew so i got some kids to skate with. Since in started my company, Ouch! Skateboard Co... all I do is host skate jams just to get my company recognized. Its really tough to start a company when your only 15. Well, Check the site!
We are now planning a jam down the local streets or Brookfield and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US of A.

me and 2 friends went to DC and skated around freedom plaza for awhile. then we went out to check other spots and met more skaters, hung out at Asylum for a bit, then skated some empty warehouse type of building with hella smooth floors. by the end we had about 20 skaters pushing from spot to spot and getting kicked out along the way.
I live in Ipswich, Ma. My town sucks so me and some friends went up to Newburyport to skate some street which ended up being really fun but Go Skateboarding Day was cool overall...I hope it is bigger next year.

I screwed revising for my maths a-level and went and got back on my board after a month off. Then a seagull swooped down and stole my board, and I got run over on the way home.
We had a game of SKATE, but instead of getting a letter, you get whipped on the back with a willow branch, great fun.

PHOENIX.AZ hell yeah! I went to go to cowtown's go skateboarding night and it was rad as hell,when we first got their I was able to grab a bunch of free food, then me, my friends, and about 200 other sakters sat down to watch a video premier which they showed on the back of the cowtown wall via a projecter. Dustin dolin showed up and he was pretty funny , my friends asked him for beer but he said no, and like during his part of the video he was in the corner pissing. After the video was over, their was a mad dash to grab some maps and free stuff, the scavanger hunt was INSANE, skaters everywhere downtown and it seemed like veerytime we got a spot some kid just grabbed our stuff, and the end of the night our group of 8 ended up with 2 hats and 3 shirts, me unfortantly, empty handed. it was a fun event and tons of funny stuff went down like me and my friends almost laying this faggot ass security guard out. Overall it was super funa and cant wait til next years event.

Yeah I had a long day at the local skatepark due to no car. It was good though due to the fact everyone was there and we all were going big. I learned a couple of tricks here and there (Fs Boardslide Shove Out second try and then Fs Bluntslide). So yes my "Go Skateboarding Day" was quite a good day in Tinley Park (Chicago), Illinios.

funny thing, i was waiting for the day to come and then it was hailing for hours so i just skated the wet road at night and it was only 13 degress (celsius) plus it was windy. but the next day it was sunny as usual.
well mine was shitty, i went to teh local shop bought two new decks for cheap and that was liek 10 in the mornin went to my friends hosue and finally went skatin bout 2 when we left we wacthed a dog get run over by a car so i jad to pick it up off the road and bring it to this guys house then we kept gettin kicked out of all the spots so we decieded to go to a freinds house when his parents kciked us out so with no where to go we skated at a school until 3 in the mornin we went to the foodlion down the road fell asleep in the back and if luck may have it the cops showed up with warning welcome i went home at 430 in the mornin im not grounded but my friend is

Well me and my team(Team Apple Juice) skated at this abadoned school near Hale Middle School. Then we went to Knapp Ranch and play a game of skate. I was the first to go next was Kyle Schulte then Ricardo Rivera and then Justin Schulte won. It was one of the coolest skate sessions even though i lost like 10 bucks playing skate. It was worth it anyways. I was skating with my accels too because gangstas always represent their homies.

We had a little Wild In The Streets deal in Santa Rosa, CA. Due to a lack of organization, we only had maybe 30 skaters show up. We skated this place for a couple of hours:
Then we tried to hit up a couple of schools. But got the boot from both within a few minutes. We ended up at a local shop that was having a BBQ and also had a few obstacles set up to skate. All in all not a bad day. Next year will be WAY better though. We will plan this junk out better.

well we had our last day of school but me and friends left early and went to our park in arlington, washington. it started raining so we went and skated a 7 and an 8 that are undercover and real close to where my friend lives.
I live in lady smith Vancover island canada. the island has a decent skate scean and we are very close the vancover witch is an amazing place to skate. unfortunatly i was unable to skate anywere but my local skate park(THIS PARK SUCKS DONT GO THERE ) on go skateboarding day. i went there with my homie koove had a good sesh, learnt front krook so i guess the spirt of the holiday helped me out

We were in a local jail on the go skateboarding day, because we made a lil mistake. We hasen't got licence for a huge mass skateboarder demonstration. We were on the streets more than 200 people. The 200 people started to roll and the riot policmans wanted to stop them. After 6 hours we were free again. We get a 500$ penalty. Peace
Yeahh I was skating down south bank on "go skate day"... No one really seemed to notice it was though.. everywhere else apart from south bank was a bust.. Everyone had a good day it seemed, and Andrew brophy was skating there.. he just got back from australia I thinks, Hes so good. he should be a Pro on cliche not am!

Me and my friends hade a game of SKATE tournament where we would play Skate at every spot in town and decide who is the best at that certain spot.

worked on my friends mini-ramp...taking breaks to sesh his rail and finally finished at 12...skating to the delight of the neighboors for about a half an hour
I went to the york high school skatepark (if you want to call it a skatepark, its more like a few ramps and a jersey barrier) and just fooled around and goofed off skating with 15 or so of my buddies. then i came home and seshed my rail and did tre flips of the top of my qp.

Well, my go skateboardin day was quite different than that of the stories you have just read.
I started my day by waking up in an excrutiating amount of pain. Because the day before i had busted ass at my local skatepark and broke my collar bone in 2 places...fun fun! So my go skating day pretty much sucked....
I did try to make up for it though by filming my friends for ourvideo we are making. My day still sucked because I really felt like going skatin and pissin people of all day....
So here i am typing away with my one good arm...im gonna be so bored for the month and a half that i have to wear this stupid sling....

I only got to skate for an hour or two, and not even at a park =( I skated in the church parking lot across the street from my house. Theres a few red parking ledges there, so I hit those. Best I did was a backside kickflip boardslide. I was tired, wasn't really the best skate day if you know what I mean.

This being my first ever Go Skateboarding Day I had decided the day before to gather up all of my friends and skate around town with them all day long. What sucks is none of them were allowed to come and It was like 90 degrees out side the whole time...So I basically just ended up skating by myself for a solid 5 or 6 hours...going back and forth between two spots...I still had fun though.
Wuz cool. Me and my friend skated an 8 stair until a pissed off old lady came out of her house and threatend to call the cops. then we went to a concrete skatepark until dark.
we had a event to up every skater downtown at the bus sation but the cops got pissed and started kicking every one off so we hop on are boards skated the streets stoping on the cars blocking the streets of downtown every one was yelling and there this place called the hertage cops never let us skate it but its fucking bad so every one started heading that way when we got there cops every were everybody run me and this big group of kids got caught there was this dude on a horse he got a gun and told every one to freeze!! it suck getting tickits but worth it we made channel 8,4,11 got and the news paper the cops gave over 50 tickits 20 arrest the paper said that there was at least 400 skateboader skating downtown that day best dAY every in fort worth Texas usa it was bad ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bailed from the office at about 2:00 p.m. so my local skatepark could get crowed as hell with little kids. Got snaked on a few runs and cracked my elbow lipsliding a rail because this punk ass rolled right in front of where I was going to land.
It was cool though.

me and three of my friends got to skate a couple sets in ggc vernon ,nj. one of the spots we never get to skate because we get kicked out all the time befor we put our boards down but that day they let us skate it was sick it was 8 stairs fs and bs hand rails one my friends filmed while two of my friends skated the hand rails and i 180 the set and tryed kick flip. It was awesome i would doit again if i could.

me and a mate skated this shitty haggard ledge that we have. i was getting backside heels and double kickflips and he was getting huge ass inward heels! was a good day, but will be the same tomorrow and the next day....
Well I stuck around the neighborhood and my freind brought out his ramp and quarter pipe the my other freind brought out his rail it was one of the funnest sessions I've ever had on my block. I got airwalks variations like never before. I did kickflip airwailk and shit it was cool.

Alright well i hooked up with all my skate homies and we skate at place that we call the lot thats in Cedar Falls Iowa. we skated for a while and it was supper hot. One of my friends pissed on another dudes shirt its was pretty funny cuz we went to mcdonalds and were like dude like your shirt its good luck.Then we went to a skate park just outside cedar falls and hit that up for a lil bit. Then we got like a ton of pizza, then we kinda all went home and skated our house i guess.
Me and the homeslices went down to our tiny park in appleton wiske (village in the north east of england) and skated for many hours.. i think it was the hottest day of the year but still managed to have a good skate. éS rules!!!!!

Well i went down to philly and skated with some some totally rad dudes, how does SPANKY, Ellington, Reynolds, leo Romero, Tosh Townend and some other cool dudes that i forget their names, but it was fucking chill as hell first we went to this one spot and there was like nothing to skate so me and my bitches headed to LOVE and fucking John says "we take a right here, wait am I bad left" so we fucking go the wrong the wrong way for about 15 or so blocks we get bitched at by fat ppl and buy water from strangers when we werelike "shit, were goin the wrong way" so me and bitches traveled about for about a half hour and we finally we see City Hall getting busted, apparently a cop decided to beat some kid up kid and mad ppl were gettin pissed so we bounced and headed to LOVE and the fuckin Cops are like "NO SKATEBOARDS" so we were like "Yo, 5-0 ya know where the seven eleven is" so we ran thru LOVE and got some food at seven eleven. about fifteen minutes later i got a 2 liter of coke in one hand and this nasty sandwich in the other when i see a fucking WALL of skaters bust right into LOVE, there musta been like 1,000 skaters. so i fuckin ran! to see this shit and get there and thers like mad hippis takin their shirts off and showin their hairy ass legs. so we stick around and thats when my bitches from Emerica showed and was like "Yo, Wattup" so i stook around for a bit and skated a planter with some rad dudes, and then some cop died and the place smelt like fucking pit cuz of those damned hippis, so my and bitches headed out and went to the next spot, all of a sudden im skatin down second street and fucking ELLINGTON rolls up beside me and is like "yo, you headed to the next stop?" and im like Holy Shit its fucking ellington, and so me ellington fucking skated to the next stop, and then i got tired and so i stopped at burger king to take a load outta my ass and then i headed to this spot underneath some type of bridge with some stuff skate(no, not FDR) and we skated and fucking Tosh was rippin shit fucking leo was like kickflip noseblunting, and i was like "what the fuck", Me and SPANKY sessioned a polejam and then the cops came and dragged us out, so then went up towards Nocturnal and the best philly cheese staek ever, and then went for 2 hour drive home to my safe haven.
damn sry that was so long, but overall my day kicked ass.
My local skate park had free admission to the park so I skated there and everyone was there and it was awesome I was going to go to Philly for Wild In The Streets but I had a final so I went to the skate park instead

Me and some friends just rode around and hit up all the spots we usually skate. It was good to see so many people skating all at once. Security wasnt as bad as it normally is either. It was one of those days you can just look back on that makes you want to go skate.

"go skateboarding day" we're from latham ohio. basically that curb is all there is but we made do...
me an my best mate ant, and a big mofo we like to call "big dave" wer determined to have a good days skating. and since we come from the shittiest town on earth called widnes, in the middle of liverpool and manchester, we decided to catch a train to a slightly better town called warrington. we went to quite a sick concrete park at warrington, and i think we all learnt at least ONE new trick. we were there from bout half ten in the morning to bout five at night. an then we came back to shitty ole widnes an skated the local park for a bit. an then by about 7 at night we were all pretty beat. coz the sun was beatin down that day (wich resulted in some nasty sunburns) an we'd all bin basically on our boards every minute of the day. ive gotta say that was a gud day! i guess its safe to say i love skateboarding, but after that day, im afraid i had serious chalk-type-ankles!!!!

I live in a little town no one knows about called Mount Hope.It's kinda kiff living out in the stix so me and some of my closest buddies decided we weren't going to waste the day by sitting around and watching vids, when we could be out there pulling some sick shit. We went into Hamilton and found some pretty rad ledges and a few sets. It was pretty amazing and it was definately a day well spent. I learned a few new tricks and my buddies were a lot of help. Anyways...my last words here are about this "Ned Shneebly" guy.I personally think he's both a dumbass and a bullshitter.Mccrank man, you fuckin rock. omg stop asking that stupid question.Get a life o well my go skateboarding day was ok.I saw some pros at my local skatepark but some werent that good but I got my left nut cut off when i was trying a simple ollie down some stairs but there was a bike lying in front of the stairs i didnt see and my nut got caught on the end of the handle part which was sharp!!!
on go skate day we skated as much as we could at a couple spots although me and my dumbness self dylan sprayed too much spray paint and had too peel my grip tape off on june 20 it was hard to skate but we did and everyone out there never quit skating until security shows up with a gun

haha this day was kick ass! but i had a badly sprained ankle, but i buffed it out by taking like 3 500mg painkillers haha. i went to third and army and skated there for a looong long time. then i went back to my home town in stockon CA and skated this secret skatepark that not a lot of people know about(not even cops). yeah i skated there till the sun went down. but you know what, i never skated that hard in most of all my other days. so now everyday is GO SKATEBOARDING DAY!!! so guess what, its night time here but im gonna skate the red curbs at the nearby elementary school!

i went to liberty pole then to northgate then to lil shitty spots that we had to gdeal with because eveywhere we went we all got kicked out but the highlight of the day was my friend racking himself on a handrail.

me and my frineds went into buffalo and skated the local spots till we got kicked out like normal....then we went to a parking lot and got all the people we could to gether and played a huge 1 and a half hour long game of skate ....sick as hell!......
